Job Title: Workshop Foreman

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee workshop-related matters and maintain high-quality control standards within our transport operations. Our focus is primarily on the coal industry, utilizing side tippers to transport coal from mines to sidings in the Mpumalanga region. You will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet remains reliable and safe to meet the demands of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Workshop Quality Control: Supervise all workshop activities to ensure maintenance and repairs meet the highest operational standards.
• Workflow Optimization: Manage and optimize the scheduling of repairs to ensure maximum fleet uptime and efficient workshop throughput.
• Leadership and Safety: Lead the workshop staff while strictly enforcing all safety protocols and quality standards to protect personnel and equipment.
• System Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance and operational systems to add value to client services and business growth.

Requirements

• Must hold a Red Seal in Diesel Mechanics.

• Approximately 5 years of verifiable experience in the field.
• A valid driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle are required.
