Mechanical Technician – Manufacturing & Installation Project Panmixers (PMSA) Jet Park Boksburg, Gauteng , Permanent
About the Role
The successful candidate will join a specialised team focused on high-quality concrete equipment, including brick, block, and paver-making machinery. The role offers exposure to a broad range of disciplines, involving both workshop-based special projects and the installation of an extensive equipment portfolio.
The company prides itself on manufacturing “Built-to-Last” machinery designed for long-term reliability and high productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manufacturing and workshop duties on concrete equipment
- Conduct on-site installation of machinery and equipment
- Read, interpret, and analyse mechanical drawings and technical specifications
- Deliver exceptional customer service during installation phases
- Travel locally and internationally for equipment installations (few days to several weeks)
- Maintain strict adherence to company and customer site safety protocols
Requirements
- Qualified Millwright or Fitter and Turner
2-4 years minimum experience in relevant field
Ability to handle multiple engineering disciplines
Must own professional tools and be a non-smoker
Valid driver's license own vehicle
Willingness to travel extensively with good family support system
Strong people skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passport for international travel preferred
