You will play a direct role in maintaining operational excellence and efficiency, particularly within the balancing industry. Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Technical Needs: Understanding the technical requirements of clients, particularly within the balancing industry.
  • Equipment Deployment: Performing the installation, commissioning, and precise calibration of balancing machines.
  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Conducting fault finding, diagnosis, and providing service for balancing machines.
  • Process Improvement Collaboration: Working collaboratively with other technical personnel to enhance existing processes.
  • Project Resource Planning: Determining and costing the required balancing machine hardware and labour for potential projects.
  • Specialized Solution Acumen: Becoming familiar with client-specific balancing solutions, standards, and practices.
  • Documentation Preparation: Handling the reparation and formatting of tender documentation.
  • Supplier Coordination: Obtaining necessary supplier quotations.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Building and nurturing customer contacts and relationships.
  • Ad-hoc Support: Performing additional ad-hoc tasks as required by management.

 

Requirements:

  • A National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical/Millwright Trade.
  • A high degree of computer literacy in MS Office and MS Projects.
  • Experience in balancing and vibration monitoring is considered advantageous.
  • Proven ability in Project Management.
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and specifications.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, as well as effectively work as an individual and part of a team.
  • A drivers license with own transport is essential.
