About the Role:

This company is seeking a highly skilled diesel Mechanic to join a specialized team focused on the import, sale, and maintenance of iconic American vehicles, particularly RAM Pick-Up Trucks. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality service and technical support for “American Muscle” vehicles, ensuring they meet the standards required for the South African market. The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, handling everything from general servicing to complex modifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• FCA System Specialisation: Apply expert knowledge of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) systems to perform comprehensive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on RAM trucks.
• Toyota Mechanical Support: Utilize specialized Toyota mechanical knowledge to service and maintain relevant vehicles within the service centre’s portfolio.
• Auto-Electrical Diagnostics: Execute advanced auto-electrical fault-finding and repairs to ensure all electronic components and vehicle systems function at peak performance.
• Vehicle Servicing and Upgrades: Conduct routine service bookings and install aftermarket upgrades or client-specific accessories to enhance vehicle performance and aesthetics.

Requirements:

• Red Seal: Diesel Mechanic
• A valid driver’s license is required, with a Code 10 license being highly preferred.
• Proven experience and knowledge in FCA, Toyota, and auto-electrical systems.
• A strong interest in and understanding of American trucks and the "American Muscle" lifestyle.
