About the Role:

This organisation is a well-established South African leader in water treatment technology, operating since 1968 and known for delivering reliable, cost-effective water purification solutions across Africa.

As a Field Service Technician, the successful candidate will form part of a technical team responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of water treatment equipment across various client sites. The role offers exposure to a wide range of systems and provides strong technical development within the utilities and water sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and commissioning of pumps, motors, and water treatment systems
• Performing preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Fault finding and troubleshooting on electrical and mechanical systems
• Conducting routine inspections and condition monitoring of equipment
• Ensuring all work is completed according to safety standards and company procedures
• Providing technical support to clients both on-site and remotely

Requirements:

• Trade Tested Millwright
• 1–2 years’ relevant experience
• Valid driver’s licence
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required
• Basic computer literacy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Information:

• Standard working hours: Monday to Friday
• Minimal overtime required
• Company vehicle provided for site travel
