Job Title: Junior Maintenance Technician
About the Role:
This role is responsible for providing electrical services and general maintenance support across multiple properties, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality repair work. The successful candidate will perform electrical installations, inspections, fault finding, and repairs while also supporting general maintenance activities and working alongside contractors where specialist expertise is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with maintenance activities across designated properties.
- Maintain communication with supervisors, site managers and property owners.
- Assist with monthly site performance feedback reports.
- Coordinate reactive and preventative maintenance activities.
- Prioritise urgent repairs and track maintenance completion and quality.
- Perform day-to-day maintenance including plumbing, carpentry, painting and minor electrical work.
- Fit, test, repair and replace fixtures and fittings including light bulbs, windows, doors and handrails.
- Identify maintenance requirements proactively.
- Test and maintain equipment including alarms and air conditioners.
- Perform electrical installations, inspections, fault finding and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards.
- Maintain fire safety and emergency readiness.
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of CCTV systems and alarms.
- Maintain workshop, equipment and vehicle cleanliness and safety.
- Manage tools, equipment and inventory.
- Assist with event setup and breakdown when required.
- Perform basic plumbing work including unclogging drains and repairing leaking taps and toilets.
- Support special projects including steelwork, construction and woodwork.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Qualified Electrician and Millwright
- Strong organisational, planning and time management skills.
- Ability to manage maintenance requirements across multiple sites.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health, safety and building regulations.
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
- Adaptable, resilient and accountable under pressure.

- Ability to safely use general power tools.
- Ability to operate and maintain equipment.

- Valid driver's licence.
- Must be comfortable driving company vehicles when required.
Additional Information:
- Working hours: 07:00 – 16:00, Monday to Friday.
- Saturday work required when operationally necessary.
- Total working hours: 45 hours per week.
- Must be willing to work overtime in line with operational requirements, including weekends if required.
- Company vehicles will be provided for work purposes (travelling between sites)
