About the Role:

This organization operates a brick manufacturing plant and is looking for a self-driven Plant Manager to oversee its production section. The role involves managing personnel and general plant maintenance, and requires a strong electrical background together with a qualified millwright qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Efficiency: Drive production efficiency across the plant's manufacturing operations.
• Team Supervision: Supervise and manage the production team on a day-to-day basis.
• Preventative Maintenance: Carry out preventative maintenance to keep plant equipment running reliably.
• Planned Maintenance: Coordinate and execute planned maintenance schedules for plant machinery.
• Parts Fabrication: Manufacture or build replacement parts for broken plant components as needed.

Requirements:

• Qualified Millwright.
• Good knowledge of electrical motors and wiring.
• Experience with circuit boards in manufacturing plant settings.
• Welding experience.
• Strong problem-solving ability under pressure, with solid fault-finding skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Sound knowledge of safety rules and procedures.
• Willingness to work two weekends per month and overtime as needed.
