  • Security and Safety: Support site security, report concerns promptly, and uphold health and safety standards across the property.
  • Project Work: Take on ad-hoc practical and project work as required.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent.
  • Red Seal Millwright
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in estate, farm, facilities, or general maintenance.
  • Proven all-round competence across electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general maintenance work; a relevant trade qualification such as Millwright is beneficial.
  • Confident operating and maintaining farm machinery, including a tractor.
  • Comfortable working in and around horses.
  • Valid driver's license (Code B / EB); PDP advantageous. Own reliable transport recommended, as no on-site accommodation is provided.
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Proactive, dependable, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and communicate well.
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends and after-hours as operational needs require.

What We Offer:

  • A permanent, full-time position, available immediately.
  • Market-related remuneration.
  • Varied, hands-on work in a well-run, immaculately maintained equestrian setting.
  • A high degree of ownership and autonomy over the estate's day-to-day upkeep.
