About the Role

A Stock Controller opportunity is available within the engineering and mining supplies sector in Rosslyn, Pretoria. In this role, you will ensure total alignment between system inventory and physical warehouse stock through regular cycle counts and discrepancy investigations. You will also manage daily stock transfers and purchasing, while providing versatile support across dispatch, receiving, and sales counter operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock Control & Inventory Alignment: Conduct cycle counts (counting, checking, and capturing), update bin locations and labels, process items received for credit, and ensure system stock accurately reflects physical warehouse inventory.
• Stock Ordering & Purchasing: Raise daily stock transfers from other branches, purchase required items not available via internal transfers, and maintain organized administrative filing.
• Warehouse & Operational Support: Provide hands-on assistance to the dispatch, receiving, and counter sales teams as required, and perform additional operational tasks as directed by the Branch Manager.

Requirements

• Matric qualification
• Minimum 3 years’ warehouse experience
• Reliable transport
• IT literacy and mathematical literacy
• Strong product knowledge and a solid understanding of company operational flow
• Good leadership skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
• Professional office and telephone etiquette

About the Role

An exciting Internal Sales position is available with an Engineering and Mining Supplies business in Rosslyn, Pretoria. In this role, you will handle incoming sales calls, quote and invoice customers, source products, and follow up with regular accounts. You will also provide vital operational support to sales representatives who are out of the office. Success in this position is measured through sales reports, customer feedback, telephone reports, and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Invoicing: Accurately processing invoices for completed customer purchases.
• Order Quoting: Preparing and issuing detailed price quotations for prospective customer purchase orders.
• Inbound Call Handling: Promptly answering all incoming sales calls with professional telephone etiquette.
• Product Sourcing: Locating and securing specialized products to fulfill specific customer requests.
• Junior Buying: Managing purchasing tasks and inventory ordering as needed.
• Technical Consultation: Advising customers on technical specifications and product features.
• Account Follow-Up: Maintaining contact with existing client accounts who place routine orders.
• Sales Representative Support: Assisting field sales representatives with queries and admin support while they are out of the office.

Requirements / Qualifications
