Key Responsibilities
- Service Call Response: Actively respond to prompt service calls as required by the standby contract to ensure minimal downtime for clients.
- Technical Troubleshooting and Repairs: Perform comprehensive mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on various equipment.
- Equipment Inspection and Testing: Conduct routine safety tests and functional inspections to ensure all machinery meets operational standards.
- In-House Technical Support: Execute equipment assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks at the office when site breakdown assistance is not required.
- Project Engineering Application: Utilize mechanical and electrical principles to ensure the successful and sound operation of ongoing company projects.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain precise service records and provide regular updates to supervisors regarding job status and technical requirements.
- Safety and Protocol Compliance: Strictly follow all company procedures and safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
Requirements
- Recently qualified Electrician or Millwright
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including standby callouts during evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent time management, and the capacity to work independently.
- A valid Driver’s License and your own reliable transport are essential.
