Key Responsibilities

• Service Call Response: Actively respond to prompt service calls as required by the standby contract to ensure minimal downtime for clients.
• Technical Troubleshooting and Repairs: Perform comprehensive mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on various equipment.
• Equipment Inspection and Testing: Conduct routine safety tests and functional inspections to ensure all machinery meets operational standards.
• In-House Technical Support: Execute equipment assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks at the office when site breakdown assistance is not required.
• Project Engineering Application: Utilize mechanical and electrical principles to ensure the successful and sound operation of ongoing company projects.
• Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain precise service records and provide regular updates to supervisors regarding job status and technical requirements.
• Safety and Protocol Compliance: Strictly follow all company procedures and safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.

Requirements

• Recently qualified Electrician or Millwright
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including standby callouts during evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent time management, and the capacity to work independently.
• A valid Driver’s License and your own reliable transport are essential.
