About the Role:

This organization is a steel fabrication business supplying equipment such as conveyors, tanks, platforms, and hoppers to the food production sector, among other industries. As part of a growing focus on automation, the organization is looking for a Junior Automation Technician to help build, install, and maintain automated systems and conveyor lines, working alongside the wider maintenance team to keep production machinery running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automated Equipment Building: Assist in building and installing automated systems and conveyor lines as part of the manufacturing process.
• Controls and Systems Support: Provide basic support on the electrical and control elements of automated equipment.
• General Machinery Upkeep: Support the wider team in servicing and maintaining factory equipment, including compressors, guillotines, press brakes, laser machines, and welding machines.

Requirements:

• Red Seal: Millwright.
• Valid driver's license.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a genuine interest in automated systems and controls.
