About the Role:
This company is a leading specialist in process automation, equipment, and solutions, particularly within the Food & Beverage sector, celebrating 15 years of customer success. Since 2013, they have been building processing solutions and offering a range of advanced systems, including SCADA, PLC software, and various processing plants.
They are seeking a dedicated Junior Technician to join their team, contributing to the development, installation, and maintenance of cutting-edge automation solutions. This role provides an opportunity to engage with modern industrial equipment and contribute directly to their operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- PLC Software Development: Perform entry-level development of PLC software, specifically using Siemens platforms.
- HMI Development: Engage in the development of Human Machine Interface (HMI) solutions, utilizing Siemens tools.
- SCADA Development: Conduct basic development tasks for SCADA systems, employing platforms like Ignition and Wonderware.
- Control System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues within various control systems.
- Instrumentation Management: Specify, install, commission, and troubleshoot instrumentation components.
- On-site System Commissioning: Perform essential I/O checks and commission systems directly at customer sites.
- Electrical Installation & Troubleshooting: Execute installations and diagnose problems within electrical systems.
- Panel Building & Testing: Construct and thoroughly test electrical control panels.
- Electrical Drawing: Create detailed electrical drawings using Eplan software.
Requirements:
- A Red Seal Millwright or Electrician qualification is required.
- Candidates should have an understanding of pumps, valves, and heat exchangers.
- Basic mechanical skills such as cutting, grinding, fitting, and welding are important.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is expected.
- Strong communication skills in English are necessary.
