About the Role

We are a specialist engineering firm focused on mild and stainless steel fabrication, steel erection, and corrosion protection. With over 46 years of experience in the Pan African market, we deliver high-quality industrial equipment, structural steel, and plant assemblies. We are seeking qualified Red Seal Welders to join our team in Krugersdorp, working in an ISO 3834 Part 2 certified environment where health, safety, and quality are the top priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Precision Welding and Fabrication: Perform expert welding on structural steel, platework, and piping (SMPP) according to strict technical drawings and specifications.
• Component Assembly: Prepare metal parts for fabrication by cutting, grinding, fitting, and assembling them to ensure a high-quality finished product.
• Quality Control Inspections: Conduct detailed inspections of all completed welds to ensure they meet international quality standards and project requirements.
• Safe Equipment Operation: Operate a range of welding equipment and manual hand tools effectively and safely within a workshop environment.
• Safety Adherence: Maintain a high level of attention to detail while strictly adhering to site safety standards and health protocols.

Requirements

• Red Seal - Welder
• Strong background in structural and plate welding.
• Skilled in MIG, TIG, Arc, and CO₂ welding processes.
• Experience working with both stainless steel and mild/carbon steel.
• Must be fluent in Afrikaans.
• Willingness to work 40 hours per week plus overtime and weekends when required.
