About the Role:

This organization is an established mining services provider, operating a substantial fleet of mining and earthmoving equipment to support underground and surface mining operations across South Africa. The organization is looking for a newly qualified Diesel Mechanic to service, maintain, diagnose, and repair yellow equipment and trucks, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation across its fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preventative Maintenance: Carry out preventative maintenance on yellow equipment and trucks to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Fault Finding and Diagnostics: Diagnose mechanical faults on mining vehicles and equipment.
• Mechanical Repairs: Carry out mechanical repairs on yellow equipment and trucks operating on mine sites.
• Inspections: Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify and address potential issues.
• Service Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records for all equipment worked on.

Requirements:

• Red Seal (Diesel Mechanic).
• Valid driver's license.
